Make your business run the way it should

Your team is buried in mail, orders and approvals that keep coming in, while the real decisions wait. We redesign how the work flows and build it so the routine runs itself. You decide what matters.

Approach

How we make the work lighter

Most teams don’t have a technology problem. They have work that was never redesigned. We change that in three ways.

01

Redesign, not patches

Rebuild the process, not the symptoms

  • Cut steps that only exist out of old distrust
  • Stop automating a broken flow
  • Design work around the outcome you want

Fewer moving parts, less that can go wrong.

02

Work that runs itself

Recurring work, handled automatically

  • Mail, orders and approvals sorted and routed
  • Handled by time or by goal, not by hand
  • Clear checkpoints where you still decide

The routine runs on its own. Your head stays clear.

03

You on top, not in the middle

You steer, the system runs

  • Move from doing the work to steering it
  • A human, an AI or simple logic per step
  • Trust the system, keep the final say

You lead the work instead of chasing it.

Services

Where we start, and how far it goes

One conversation is usually enough to spot the recurring work that costs you most. From there we redesign, build and hand over, at a pace and budget that fit.

01 / Step 1

Process scan: where the time goes

We map what really lands on your team’s desk every day and find the work worth redesigning first. Low risk, fast, and you keep the map.

02 / Step 2

Redesign & build

We redesign the process and build it so it runs. Working software and clear hand-offs, not slides.

03 / Step 3

Run, scale & keep it safe

We keep it all running as your volume grows, with governance and EU AI Act readiness built in where it matters.

04 / Step 4

Team & leadership

We build the skill of steering a business full of recurring work, from the C-suite down to the people doing it.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make my business run more efficiently with AI?

Start by looking at the work, not the tools. Most inefficiency comes from processes that were never redesigned: recurring mail, approvals and rework that pile up. We map that work, redesign the process, and automate what is left, so the routine runs itself and your people focus on the decisions that matter.

My business still runs on me — how do I get a grip without stepping into everything myself?

When everything stalls the week you are away, the problem is not you, it is work that was never designed to run without you. We map what keeps landing on your desk, redesign those recurring loops so they run by time or by goal, and leave you the decisions that genuinely need you. You move from being stuck in the work to sitting on top of it.

What is a Forward Deployed Engineer?

A Forward Deployed Engineer works inside your business instead of delivering a report from the outside. They learn how your work really runs, connect your systems, build a working solution with your people, and stay until it works in daily practice. The term comes from tech companies like Palantir and OpenAI. It is a good name for what we do: we don’t just advise, we redesign the process and build what runs it.

What is loop engineering, in plain language?

Loop engineering means looking at everything that keeps landing on your desk (mails, orders, approvals) as recurring work instead of one-off tasks. We design that work so it is handled automatically, by time or by goal. You move from being stuck in the work to sitting on top of it, with clear checkpoints where you still decide.

What is graph engineering?

Graph engineering is mapping how work actually flows: the chains, branches, decisions and repeats. For each step we decide who or what should handle it: a person, an AI, or simple logic. It is a clear picture of your process that makes redesign and automation possible without guesswork.

What is the difference between automating a process and redesigning it?

Automating speeds up the process you already have, broken parts included. Redesigning asks whether those parts should exist at all. Often steps only survive because trust broke once, years ago, like keeping an Excel to track that other Excels were filled in. We redesign first, then automate what is genuinely needed.

Why do most AI projects in SMEs fail to deliver?

Because they start with a tool instead of the work. A bigger ERP or a ChatGPT licence on top of a messy process just moves the mess around. The value comes from spending a few hours understanding the process, redesigning it, and only then building, measured in euros, not features.

What does The House of AI actually deliver?

We redesign how work flows in your company and build what runs it. Working software and clear hand-offs, not slides. Depending on where you start, that is a process scan, a redesign-and-build engagement, ongoing running and scaling, or upskilling your team to steer it. Governance and EU AI Act readiness are built in where they matter.

Can’t I just buy an AI tool?

A tool on top of a broken process just moves the mess around. We look at the work first, redesign it, and only then build what genuinely helps. A licence doesn’t fix a process that was never designed.

What is the difference between AI in the cloud and getting AI to actually work for me?

AI in the cloud is an assistant that waits for your question. Cowork is AI that works inside your process: it picks up the recurring work, handles it within clear checkpoints, and hands back when you need to decide. Not something you query, but something that runs alongside you.

What is harness engineering?

Harness engineering is building everything around a model so it works reliably inside your business: the connections to your systems, the checkpoints, and the logic that decides when a human, an AI or simple rules take over. The model is not the work. The harness around it is.

What does AI do to how my team works together?

AI takes over the recurring work, not the people. Your team moves from doing to steering: less time in mail and repeat work, more in the decisions that matter. That shifts roles, which is why we build the skill of steering along with the solution.

How do I make AI actually land in my organisation?

Adoption stalls when you impose a tool on a process no one redesigned. We build inside your business, with your people, and stay until it runs in daily practice. AI lands by redesigning the work itself, not by sending a roll-out email.

How do I put a euro value on an AI project before we start?

We put a number on it up front: which process, how much time or rework disappears, and what that is worth in euros. That number decides whether we build at all, and it is what we measure against afterwards. Value in euros, not features.

What does the EU AI Act mean for an SME, and does it block my automation?

For most SMEs the EU AI Act is manageable: know which AI you use, classify the risk, keep human oversight where it matters, and document it. We build that in while we redesign and build, so compliance follows the work instead of blocking it. Readiness where it is relevant, not paperwork for its own sake.

Who does The House of AI work with?

Small and mid-sized businesses across Europe, with a focus on the Benelux, and especially the CEOs, COOs and CIOs who feel the drag of broken, repetitive work most directly.
